DONT CALL BACK ANY MISS CALL FROM NO. STARTING WITH +92

Today morning when I woke up I saw my mobile. I think 90% youth does the same thing. I was checking my call logs and found one missed call from +923058302552 and below this number Pakistan was written. It looked like
normal phone number but one thing I noticed that its 12 digit phone number with +92 extension. India’s code is +91 so I was sure that the call wasn't come from India. So I goggled for Country Extensions and then I come to know that +92 is Pakistan’s Country Code. First thought came in my mind “This
definitely some kind of FRAUD or SCAM”. Then I again goggled the term ” Missed Calls from Pakistan” and boom!!!. I was correct. I am not the only one who got a missed call from such number. 

What harm this SCAM can do?

1. If you pick up the call they can tell you that you have won a lottery or your name is selected from your country and you won this much amount. Then they will ask to reveal your personal details like name, address, bank details. If you expose those details then they can easily misuse all the information.

2. If you respond them via callback then they can clone your SIM cards. They are using some kind of malicious program at thier end. The moment, you calls back your SIM is cloned. Then they can use it for terror calls means if they call someone for bad purpose then your number will be used. 

What precautions you can take?

1. If you receive the call from such numbers first thing “NEVER CALL BACK”. 

2. Put this number in your Block List.

3. Report this immediately to your Service Provider.  Similar SCAM numbers sometimes starts with+375 (Belarus) and +232 (Sierra Leone). These SCAMS started from 2010 and its very difficult to find out those scammers.
